Following on from the last article I'd like to share this short video on morphogenic fields. The theory is not new, it was first put forward in 1910 by Alexander Gurwitsch a Russian Biologists. Since then further studies have shown some validity to his theory. Interestingly the theory goes some way to explaining the concepts raised in previous articles. The video is narrated by Rupert Sheldrake a cell biologist, author and proponent of the morphogenetic field theory. The main impetus for this research came from developmental biology. In a world where we feel pretty secure in our understanding of everything, we are still unable to understand how a human being is created, this approach goes some way to filling that gap.
